Gif-Tank

Gif-Tank is a social media based micro-game where players attempt to sell their entrepreneurial ideas to a panel of wealthy investors who communicate using only gifs and emojis. This business card played game is played using your favorite social media.

Gif-Tank is a micro-game offered through itch.io primarily to allow me to make updates to the game if it expands into something else. If you just wish to play the game without signing up for updates or paying anything, check out the screenshot or the rules below. There is no currently available other content for Gif-Tank, the screenshot is the same as the files.

1- Play begins when the Entrepreneur posts a gif or set of emoji and explains their initial pitch ending with some variation of “What do you say, Sharks?” and the hashtag #giftank.

 2- Other players join by replying to this initial post using only emoji or gifs to ask questions, suggest possibilities, or leave negotiation.

3- When a Shark makes an offer, the Entrepreneur must answer them next, accepting or rejecting. A  rejected Shark may continue play. At any time a Shark may also declare themselves out.

4. Play ends when an offer is accepted.
